Laser Hair Removal

How does the laser removal system work?

Infrared light pulses penetrates deeply into the dermis where the optical energy is referentially absorbed by the melanin in hair, causing a rapid heating of the hair shaft and follicle that disables the follicle. It targets melanin in hair follicles resulting in stable long-term or permanent hair reduction.

Is the procedure painful?

Mild to moderate pain may be experienced during treatment. Local anesthesia is not generally required.

Is the hair really permanently removed?

Permanent hair reduction is the key word. It does not necessarily imply the elimination of ALL hairs in a treated area.

How long before the results are completely visible?

At 6 months and thereafter hair regrowth is stabilized. However, permanent hair reduction is usually observed at 6-12 months for back and thighs, and shorter for other body parts.

How long does the procedure take?

This depends on the area to be treated. Treating the armpit can take about 15 minutes. It takes a longer time to treat the legs, usually 1-2 hours depending on the surface area.

Are there any side effects?

Common side effects would be: redness 1-3 days after treatment, crusting and rarely blistering which resolves 48-72 hours, superficial erosions may be visible after laser treatment.

How much does the procedure cost per session?

Cost of the procedure depends on the area to be treated. Cost varies from Php 2,000 (upper lip), (armpits/bikini line)

Php3,500, (legs) Php 10,000, (legs and thighs) Php18,500.
